Kanuka Corner

Kanuka Corner is Hawea’s home away from home for the youngest learners in our community. We are a nature based early learning center with local values forming the foundation of our curriculum.

Through nurturing our tamariki they experience holistic wellbeing and a strong sense of belonging. This allows for their learning to unfold naturally through engaging in our play based programme. 

From helping in our extensive food gardens to heading out on our adventure programme, our children grow and learn knowing what it means to authentically care for the earth and each other.
